Blue Crabs sign pitcher

The Blue Crabs signed a new pitcher named Matt Hensley. He has spent time with the Angels mainly at the triple-A level, but also made an appearance in the bigs. He’s a big guy, throws hard and has a couple of nasty pitches. Welcome Matt!

Still awaiting official word, but the Blue Crabs released Curtis Pride today. Unofficially, it appears the team offered the vet a coaching job, but he turned them down. The DH was batting .265, had 48 RBI’s and 8 HR’s. He started 24 games for the Crabs in the outfield, and 2 at 1st.
