The pitching staff combined for a shutout, and the Blue Crabs offense came through with a couple of bombs as the visitors shut out the division leading Ducks 4-0.

Keith Ramsey registered the win to improve to 4-3 on the season, lasting 5.2 innings while giving up four hits and zero runs. Jason Blanton, Jason Pearson, Matt Hensley, Matt Schweitzer, and Kenny Baugh combined to shut out the Ducks offense the rest of the way.

Eric Crozier gave the Blue Crabs an early 2-0 lead with his tenth home run of the season, and a George Sandel RBI gave the visitors some breathing room.

Chris Maples, who has been lighting it up lately, blasted his nineteenth home run of the season in the top of the ninth. Maples is now one home run shy of his career-high season total, and has hit four home runs in the past four games.
